Private League Derivative for TTM at THR =========================== Engine: - Type: Cosworth YBD - Configuration: 2.0L inline-4 DOHC 16V with EFI - Aspiration: Garrett T4 turbocharger (limited to 2.0 bar using a wastegate) - Interesting fact: DJR Sierras had up to 680 hp with 2.4 bar in ATCC 1992 Pros: - devastating acceleration on boost - very high top speed - optional 6-speed Holinger gearbox (introduced in ATCC mid-1991) - high rear downforce - very powerful brakes (might fade) Cons: - enormous turbo lag - boost comes on like a light switch - narrow tyres are overwhelmed by the engine - high weight - heavily rear-biased downforce (not adjustable) - no ABS =========================== Credits: - Base Car, DTM skins by J.Leman, Akina Style (v3.0) - Sound by Bitto69 (v0.8) - TTM basis: JackCY (2021 THR League Proposal Physics) - TTM edits: Valentin K Links: https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/ford-sierra-cosworth-rs500-pack.24027/ https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/ford-sierra-rs500-gra-rally.50770/ https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/ford-sierra-cosworth-rs500-skins-pack.32952/ https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/ford-sierra-rs500-gra-rally.50770/ ____________________________________________ CHANGELOG v3.2 updates for THR TTM 2026 season: - fuel tank swapped to 120L endurance spec - revised engine, turbo now works without LUT boost controller - added TTM 2026 tyre compounds - TO DO: fuel consumption aligned to match the 1990 Bathurst lead car of DJR (38 laps per tank) ---------------------------------------------- v3.1 updates for THR TTM 2025 season: 1) engine/turbo: brandnew engine designed in Automation 2) sound: new sound by Bitto69 3) collider.kn5: new 4) electronics.ini: removed ABS, traction control & electronic differential lock 5) car.ini: - weight 1210 kg + driver (2.0L x 1.7 turbo x 1.0 for 4-valve head = 3500cc group) - fuel tank upsized to 120L endurance spec and repositioned to match real life - fuel consumption recalibrated to match new engine - driver eyes repositioned - graphical offset adjusted by Y -0.02 to make the car appear lower 6) setup.ini: - aero adjustments removed for greater accuracy - increased rear axle ground clearance adjustment range 7) Aerodynamics - aero front: rebuilt with repositioned and resized wing span - aero rear: rebuilt with repositioned and resized wing span 8) tyres: - fully rebuilt based on BMW M3 properties - grip for all TTM92 tyre compounds increased by 2.7-2.8% compared to 2024 9) flames.ini: updated exhaust flame 10) cameras.ini: new F6 cameras (Onboard TV angles) 11) drivetrain.ini: gearbox properties harmonized to common standard 12) brakes.ini fully reworked 13) recalculated angular inertia of wheels, and recalculated unsprung hub mass 14) ext_config.ini: - added smoke - added turbo indicator lamp, shift light, oil pressure warning light, highbeam indicator ---------------------------------------------- v3.0.1 Bugfix: tyres.ini: corrected DY_REF and DX_REF of HX compound ---------------------------------------------- ==== Physics (on top of JCY physics) ==== - drivetrain.ini & setup.ini: configured all 4 gearboxes that were Group A homologated for RS500 in Group A competition by F.I.S.A. (5- & 6-speed) - final.rto: added all 38 final ratios that were Group A homologated by F.I.S.A. - colliders.ini: new ground collider - brakes.ini: added brake temperature modelling - dash_cam.ini: re-positioned to match 190E and M3 - electronics.ini: upgraded ABS to 4-channel specification again to match TTM-spec M3 & 190E - tyres.ini: --- added new Extra Hard (HX) tyre compound --- reverted thermals of S, M & H tyres to Kunos M3 Gr.A92 specification - ext_config.ini from v3.1 and expanded to add dedicated highbeam headlight emissive, 1 reversing light, and some better dash lights.
