Your peak pace was among the strongest in the field at HOR - CRT 2026 - R1: Horsma Raceway. What helped you reach it, and what made it difficult to sustain?

The Clio has a pretty good and limited baseline setup so I could just focus on my driving.

From P17 on the grid to victory at HOR - CRT 2026 - R1: Horsma Raceway: which move or phase made the difference?

I didn't have the pace to rival the top guys, but in the reverse grid I was able to get through the field two laps before Valentin did the same. That helped me build a four-second buffer with a little over six laps still to go.

That wasn't nearly enough: Three laps later, he was right on me. But on the entry to All-In, I was slower than he expected and he clipped the back corner of my car, which sent him into the grass and reset the gap to four seconds. I felt hope. Three more laps to the checkered flag.

I made the most of my second chance. I set a new PB on the first of those three remaining laps, then matched it, then matched it again. Three laps all within 0.017s of each other. Valentin was still faster, but this time, he could only cut the gap down to two seconds. A bit unlucky for him, and an unexpected win for me, but I had to work for it and it felt good to consistently drive my best pace by the end!

A gain of 2 places put you on the podium at HOR - CRT 2026 - R1: Horsma Raceway. How did you build that result?

Well, I had to work hard. Lost a place after the start againdt Clovis, but I could get back past him.

After that, I set my sights were set at FMG, Marc and Will. FMG unfortunately made a mistake in one of the long left handers, and I could get past him aswell, and towards the end of the race I was fighting with Marc.

In the final hairpin, I got next to him on the exit, and into the final corner and out, we were having a drag race, which I won out on, although we pretty much finished in a dead-heat.

It was built upon consistency, and kerping mistakes to a minimum, along with some courage to push when needed.
